Stelvin cappers apply aluminium roll-on closures commonly used on wine and spirits bottles. The closure is formed onto the bottle thread by dedicated rolling heads, so bottle finish and closure specification are critical.
What to Check
Confirm bottle neck standard, closure dimensions and number of rolling heads. Inspect thread-forming and skirt-rolling heads, cap feeder, bottle centring, starwheels and format tooling. Check head wear and the availability of gauges or setup documentation.
Integration
Stelvin cappers are typically installed after filling and before labelling or capsuling operations, depending on package design.
