Used Case Packers for Bottling and Packaging Lines
Case packers automate the transfer of bottles, cans, cartons or other primary packs into cases, trays or retail-ready secondary packaging. They are central to end-of-line automation on beverage, food and liquid packaging lines.
Main Technologies
Common designs include pick-and-place packers, drop packers, side-loading systems and robotic case packers. The correct configuration depends on container shape, fragility, required pack pattern and case style.
What to Check Before Buying
Confirm product dimensions, case dimensions, pack pattern and whether dividers or partitions are required. Check gripper type, pick heads, lane formation, case handling, safety systems, servo drives, PLC and HMI generation, and the exact format parts supplied with the machine.
Integration
A used case packer must be speed-matched with upstream labelling or shrink-wrapping equipment and downstream case sealing or palletizing. Infeed and discharge elevations, conveyor widths and control interfaces matter when integrating equipment from different OEMs.
Manufacturers
Industrial suppliers include Krones, KHS, Cermex, SMI, Robopac and other packaging specialists. The model and installed tooling determine suitability for a specific bottle or case format.
