Used Palletizers
Palletizers automate the final stacking of cases, trays, shrink-wrapped bundles, crates and other packaged products onto pallets. They are installed at the end of bottling and packaging lines and must be matched to the incoming pack format, layer pattern, pallet size and required output.
Conventional and Robotic Palletizers
Conventional palletizers typically form complete rows or layers before transferring them onto a pallet. Robotic palletizers use articulated arms and end-of-arm tooling to pick individual packs or groups. Conventional systems can be suited to very high and stable outputs, while robotic systems can provide greater flexibility across formats and pallet patterns.
Low-Level and High-Level Infeed
Palletizers can receive products at floor level or at an elevated infeed. The plant layout, conveyor system, pallet handling and available ceiling height all affect the correct configuration. Automatic pallet magazines, slip-sheet handling and stretch wrapping may be integrated into the end-of-line system.
What to Check
Confirm product dimensions and weight, pack type, pallet dimensions, layer patterns, infeed height, nominal and practical output, gripper or layer-transfer tooling, empty-pallet handling, safety fencing, PLC architecture, conveyor interfaces and included format recipes. For robotic machines, verify the robot model, payload, reach and controller generation.
