Used Case Sealers for End-of-Line Packaging
Case sealers close filled corrugated cases after packing. They are typically installed immediately after a case packer and can use adhesive tape or hot-melt glue depending on the case style and plant standard.
Machine Types
Automatic machines fold top flaps and seal without operator intervention, while semi-automatic models may require manual case presentation. Random-format sealers can adjust to changing case dimensions; fixed-format units are simpler and suited to stable production.
What to Check Before Buying
Confirm case width, height and length ranges, board type, sealing method and required speed. Inspect tape heads or hot-melt units, folding guides, side belts, conveyors, sensors, drives, guards and control system.
Integration
A case sealer must receive correctly squared cases from the packer and discharge them consistently to labelling, checkweighing or palletizing equipment. Conveyor height and line direction should be confirmed before relocation.
Applications
Case sealers are used across beverage, food and industrial packaging lines wherever corrugated cases are used for transport packaging.
