Used Wrap-Around Case Packers
Wrap-around case packers form corrugated board around a grouped set of bottles, cans, cartons or multipacks and seal the package in one continuous process. They are widely used where compact, stable secondary packaging is required.
How They Work
Products are collated into the required pattern, a flat corrugated blank is positioned around the group, and folding sections form the case or tray before hot-melt sealing. This differs from a conventional case packer, which loads products into a pre-formed case.
What to Check Before Buying
Confirm product dimensions, pack pattern, board grade and blank dimensions. Check collation lanes, blank magazine, pick system, folding guides, hot-melt application, compression section, servo drives, conveyors and format parts.
Integration
Wrap-around machines must match upstream product flow and downstream palletizing. Infeed pitch, accumulation, discharge orientation and line-control signals should be checked during engineering.
Applications
Typical uses include beverages, food, dairy and household products packed in glass, PET, cans or cartons.
