Used Sleeve Labelling Machines
Sleeve labellers apply tubular shrink sleeves or tamper-evident bands over bottles, cans, jars and other containers. The sleeve is cut from a continuous film reel, positioned on the container and usually shrunk in a separate heat or steam tunnel.
Sleeve Applications
Full-body sleeves provide 360-degree decoration, while neck bands are used mainly for tamper evidence. PETG, PVC and OPS films are common, but the exact film and shrink process must be matched to the container and label design.
What to Check Before Buying
Confirm container dimensions, sleeve layflat width, cut length, film material and required speed. Inspect reel handling, cutting unit, mandrels, sleeve application heads, sensors, drives and format parts. If a shrink tunnel is included, verify whether it uses steam, hot air or another heating method.
Integration
Sleevers need stable container pitch and good infeed control. The downstream shrink tunnel must be sized for the film and container material and should be speed-matched with the labeller.
Applications
Typical uses include beverages, dairy, food, cosmetics and household products where full-body decoration or tamper-evident bands are required.
