Used Case Erectors for Packaging Lines
Case erectors automatically open flat corrugated blanks, form the case and close or seal the bottom before product packing. They are commonly installed upstream of case packers and secondary packaging equipment.
Case Styles and Closing Methods
Machines may handle regular slotted cases, trays or other corrugated formats. Bottom closure can use adhesive tape or hot-melt glue depending on the case design and production specification.
What to Check Before Buying
Confirm blank dimensions, board type, case style and required speed. Check magazine capacity, vacuum pick system, folding arms, squaring mechanism, tape head or hot-melt unit, sensors, guards and control system. Verify which format adjustments are manual and which are servo-driven.
Integration
The erected case must match the downstream case packer in dimensions and orientation. Conveyor height, case spacing and communication between the erector and packer should be confirmed before relocation.
