Used Isobaric Filling Machines
Used isobaric fillers, also called counter-pressure filling machines, are designed for carbonated beverages. Before product enters the container, the bottle or can is pressurized to a level close to the product tank pressure, reducing foaming and loss of dissolved gas during filling.
Typical Products
This technology is used for beer, carbonated soft drinks, sparkling water, cider and sparkling wine. The required working pressure and filling sequence depend on the product, temperature, carbonation level and container.
What to Check Before Buying
Confirm container material and format, valve type, rated working pressure, product tank configuration and whether pre-evacuation or CO2 flushing is fitted. Inspect filling valves, seals, pressure vessel condition, starwheels, bottle lifts or neck-handling components, CIP provisions and control system.
Standalone Filler or Monoblock
A standalone isobaric filler can be integrated with separate rinsing and capping equipment. An isobaric filling monoblock combines these operations on a common base and transfer system. Choose based on the existing line architecture and available floor space.
Manufacturers
Representative OEMs include Krones, KHS, Sidel, GAI, Bertolaso, MBF and other beverage filling specialists. Evaluate the exact machine specification and included format parts on each listing.
